At Cygnific, we’re proud to offer the benefit of working from abroad (WFA) or working remotely: a flexible option many colleagues use to visit friends and family or explore new destinations. Until now, this opportunity was only available to teams based in the Netherlands. We’re excited to announce that this is about to change.
From 1 August 2025, colleagues on our Curaçao location will be able to work from abroad in Bonaire, Aruba, Sint Maarten, Saba, Sint Eustatius and The Netherlands.
From De Veluwe to The Bottom
This update means Curaçao-based colleagues can work remotely from places such as Oranjestad, Groningen, Den Bosch, or The Bottom (the capital of Saba). It also allows them to combine holidays with work, giving them more time to spend in a certain place or with loved ones.
Quote Eric Meier, Manager Curaçao:
“As a team, we’ve been looking forward to this moment for quite some time and now it’s finally here. I’m genuinely excited that our Curaçao Cygnificans can now work remotely from anywhere within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It’s a wonderful opportunity to combine work with a holiday or spending time with loved ones.”
Rules and regulations
Introducing WFA is not without its challenges, as each country has its own set of rules and regulations. However, given the popularity of WFA among our Dutch colleagues and the close family ties many Curaçao-based Cygnificans have across the Kingdom, we felt it was important to extend this benefit.
