The foundation of our information security approach is of course our Information Security Management System (ISMS). This structured framework defines how we manage and protect our information assets, including continuous risk assessments and treatments, our high-level policies, the clarification of roles and responsibilities within the company, and incident responses. From there arise the two pillars on which we continue to build.
Procedures, policies & measures
Our procedures and policies don’t only include technical measures like how to report a phishing attempt or data breach. They also embody physical security measures in the office as well as in the home environment, like our visitor policy, clean desk policy and ‘always lock your laptop’ policy.
People
But procedures are empty words if people don’t follow them. In fact, research shows that most data breaches happen due to human error. That’s why the other pillar is made up of our Cygnificans: the guardians of the information galaxy. We keep their knowledge and behaviour up to par with a yearly e-learning, returning news articles about recent developments or fixed procedures, and periodic discussions during team meetings.

Our efforts in information security have resulted in an internationally recognised ISO 27001 certification and PCI DSS compliance.
